Buy Raymond, GAIL, Granules India; hold LIC Housing, Siemens: Sudarshan Sukhani

Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com is of the view that one can buy Raymond, GAIL India and Granules India and can hold LIC Housing Finance and Siemens.

November 29, 2017 / 12:44 IST

Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "Jet Airways is an opportunity at some point, not today. There is a correction which is already on-going in the stock. I think that correction has deeper legs, more downside. However it is probably a buying opportunity once this decline is over whenever that comes on the charts, but not today."

"My theme is still to go and buy this market. Let us forget about the Nifty, see the advance-decline numbers, they are very robust. A number of midcaps are either making new highs or coming out of their mild corrections. So this is a buyers’ market in any case, whatever the indices are doing, that is not important."

"Raymond is a buying opportunity. It is an opportunity for the day and if you like you could actually carry the position if it closes strongly. It is already in an uptrend. "

"Another stock in an uptrend is GAIL India. It had a pause and that pause seems to be coming to an end. For the day it is a buy and same thing if you want, you can probably carry that position."

"The third is Granules India. The stock was in a trading range and today it had a stunning upside move. It is already 4-4.5 percent higher, but it is a breakout and that breakout for a day trader is worth trading even now. That is a day trade, but take it on the long side. So three ideas, all for buying," he said.

"With a disclosure that I have trading positions in LIC Housing Finance on the long side, I think the stock is a hold. Do not panic, do not sell.  A small correction in NBFCs, in housing finance companies, and other financials, is coming to an end. So even for the next three to four months, I believe there is an upswing and if you are a long term investor, in three years you will probably see a doubling of prices."

"Siemens is part of the infrastructure capital goods sector and that sector is now bottoming out. Already we can see infrastructure companies, the smaller ones notching up handsome gains. Siemens is a late starter, but it will reach."

"At this point you hold. I don’t think we should buy or add more because it has not come out of the correction, it has not broken out. However, be patient with it, maybe at some later point of time you can consider adding, but hold on to what you have, stay with it," he added.
