Mitessh Thakkar of miteshthacker.com told CNBC-TV18, "I have all buy calls. A buy on Petronet LNG which has given some intraday signals, I would buy with a very tight stop at Rs 216, look for Rs 227 kind of target. Tata Global and tea stocks have been having some good time and Tata Global had a good pricing volume breakout yesterday. So that is a buy with a stop at Rs 161, look for targets close to about Rs 175."

"Amongst the public sector undertaking (PSU) banking names, I have Union Bank of India which has a good intraday set up, buy with a stop at Rs 153, look for target of Rs 165 and Oriental Bank of Commerce is another one with a stop at Rs 146 for targets close to about Rs 160."

"My final recommendation is Mphasis. Bullish candlestick pattern and the breakout yesterday so that is a buy with a stop at Rs 600 for targets of around Rs 650," he said.

"Berger Paints, NMDC and Hexaware Technologies look interesting. As the index consolidates on yesterday’s gain, it could be slightly towards the larger midcap names and that is what could be doing very well today."

"We had buys on Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Wipro yesterday and today it is Hexaware but it has only moved up a bit. So try to buy it around levels of Rs 253-253.50, keep a stop loss below Rs 250 and look for Rs 264 kind of a target."

"Berger Paints is another one which has come into the attention. A good breakout is there, that is a buy with a stop loss at Rs 250 and look for targets close to about Rs 264-265."
