Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com told CNBC-TV18, "Some stocks came back, others fell. So, you have to take both sides. BEML which has been a strong stock earlier also, that has restarted its uptrend. That is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 1,500 and target of Rs 1,610."
"Titan Company is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 518 and target of Rs 540. Colgate Palmolive is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 1,090 and target of Rs 1,150."
"HDIL is a sell with a stop loss of Rs 87 and target of Rs 80. Indo Count Industries is a sell with a stop loss of Rs 170 and target of Rs 158."
"You can take a positional trade out in ITC but it had such a large move, generally it does not tend to give you immediate follow through. Possibly today could be choppy on ITC. However, on dips ITC is a buy and finally you will get Rs 345-350," he said.
"Indiabulls Real Estate should not be tried out by retail investors because it can fall 25-30 percent. Probably the stock is getting cornered as well. So there is a whiff of things not being in order there although it is in an uptrend, etc. and if I did not have this information I would be a buyer but I would much rather buy Godrej Properties because if you buy at Rs 200 and suddenly these interested parties act up on the stock, it will be down 20 percent and you will be left holding the baby. So, avoid Indiabulls Real Estate."
"I want to avoid aviation now because this buying bigger than you can chew that has led Tata Steel into a problem, that has led Tata Motors into a problem, you don’t want to mess with Interglobe Aviation. I would go with stocks where they are not planning to buy anything, probably SpiceJet is the best stock out of the three aviation stocks."
"In ITC, from about Rs 354 type of zones, it can easily dip Rs 15-20. So, that is what you probably look at."
"Maybe United Spirits could be another kind of proxy play to this cigarette and liquor type of theme because out there also you get some amount of certainty on taxes, etc. So that probably can be bought and could show you better results than ITC."
