Candidates applying for this position must be between 21 to 40 years of age and hold a Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Town Planning from a recognized body such as the Institute of Planners (India) or the Institute of Town Planners (London).
Simultaneously, UPPSC is recruiting for 3 posts of Research Officer (Investigation) / Research Assistant. Two of these posts are unreserved, and one is reserved for the OBC category. The age requirement is the same, 21 to 40 years. Applicants need a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or an equivalent government-recognized degree. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in the Territorial Army or an NCC 'B' Certificate.
