Delhi University has announced recruitment for 575 faculty positions across different departments, inviting applications for posts such as Professor, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor. Eligibility Criteria:

• Professor: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in the relevant field, with a strong research background. A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals is required.
• Assistant Professor: Applicants need a Master’s degree with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR.
• Associate Professor: A Ph.D. in the relevant field is necessary along with a Master’s degree with 55 percent marks or equivalent.

Application Process:
Interested candidates can submit their applications online at du.ac.in starting from October 14, 2024. Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications and fees for each post. The link to apply will be available on the university’s website from October 14.

Registration Fees:

• Unreserved (UR) category: Rs. 2000
• OBC/EWS and women candidates: Rs. 1500
• SC/ST candidates: Rs. 1000
• PwBD category: Rs. 500 The application fees are non-refundable and can only be paid through online modes like credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on an interview. Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original certificates, testimonials, and valid photo identification at the time of the interview. Additionally, a self-attested set of photocopies of the required documents should also be submitted during the interview.
