Milind Soman, known as a fitness enthusiast, never fails to impress fans on social media with his passion for movement. While he loves to swim and run, the model-turned-actor also manages to steal time for a quick workout whenever he can.

Milind Performs Pull-Ups

Recently, he shared a video on Instagram where he’s seen in a park performing pull-ups with leg lifts. These variations are no mean feat and require a great deal of strength and practice. He seems to have achieved both with unwavering dedication and discipline.

Milind appears bare-chested in the video, sporting a pair of black shorts and slippers. His toned physique at 59 is a testament to his resolve to stay fit and active.

Sharing the post, he wrote: “Enjoying the weather! One last farewell pull-up while leaving the house. Since I have no workout regime and no gym schedule, any opportunity to get in some movement, even for a few seconds, will be grabbed!! #KeepMoving #StayActive #StrongEveryday”

How Are Pull-Ups Performed?

To perform a pull-up, hang onto a metal or pull-up bar with your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Once you’ve established a comfortable grip and position, pull yourself up and down, keeping your core tight and chest out. Use your upper body strength to raise your chin above the bar.

Benefits of Pull-Ups

Pull-ups are particularly effective for building upper body strength, including the back, shoulders, arms, and core. They help increase muscle mass, improve posture, and even offer mental health benefits like reducing anxiety and enhancing mood.

While pull-ups offer many benefits, it takes time to build the strength required to perform them. If you’re a beginner, it's best to start under the guidance of a fitness trainer.
