When it comes to fitness, there’s no slowing down Milind Soman. With his lean and muscular body, he defies age, looking his hottest ever at 59. The actor’s Instagram profile is proof that working out and good health are always priorities. In a chat with Hindustan Times, he revealed what keeps him fit and motivated.

Milind shared he lives a holistic life to take care of his overall well-being and it includes “staying active, hydration, sleeping on time and eating clean.” For him, fitness is a way of life, a non-negotiable, where commitment matters more than the number of hours.

The fashion model-turned-actor didn’t refrain from giving fitness tips to those who wish to live healthy. He told HT, “Start small, stay regular, and choose something you enjoy. That’s how habits are built.”

The actor also shared how fitness plays a huge role in desirability, that has little to do with age. He said, “I think it’s a mix of things - staying fit, feeling good, and being comfortable with who I am. Confidence comes from knowing you’re taking care of yourself, inside and out. Age has nothing to do with desirability, it’s about how you show up in the world, with energy, purpose, and authenticity.”

Milind is not a fan of Ozempic or fad diets. Instead of shortcuts, he believes in a consistent, sustainable approach that helps in habits like eating well, moving your body, and staying in tune with the body’s needs.

He said, “Real results come from doing the right things consistently over time. There are no shortcuts in fitness or life. Today, when everything feels rushed or filtered, it is important to slow down, focus on what matters, and trust the process.”

It is not just the actor, but his 86-year-old mother also doesn’t skip her workout. Milind recently shared a video of him and his wife skipping alongside her, and wrote, “Family skipping time…Aai is now 86, and skipping is something she does every day, apart from yoga and other movements. Long life, health, and happiness to all!”
