The 70th National Film Awards Ceremony 2024 took place at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, celebrating the remarkable contributions of artists and filmmakers to Indian cinema. Presided over by President Droupadi Murmu, the event honored the exceptional talents that have shaped the industry. In a moment of immense pride, actress Yami Gautam Dhar's father, Mukesh Gautam, was honored with his first national Award, leaving Yami overjoyed and filled with happiness.

Mukesh Gautam's film Baghi Di Dhee won the Best Punjabi Film in the 70th National Film Awards.
