The actor recalled, “Because I've never, I don't think I had ever been out with a working actress before, in that sense. So she said, 'Just behave like you are in a relationship with a man.’”

Saif concluded that the key takeaway was the importance of equal contribution and mutual effort from both partners for a harmonious home.

He noted, "She meant that don't get into the gender of it. Treat it like equal, like you've got two heroes in the house. Two people working and then you will have no problems. And I think she is absolutely right.”

Saif Ali Khan acknowledged that Rani's words resonated with him deeply, and he still thinks about that advice from time to time.

He said, "It's about two equals making a positive contribution to the house. One is taking care of the kids while the other works.”

Saif further explained that the advice highlighted the importance of equality in relationships, particularly regarding gender roles, emphasising that a wife's career and a husband's domestic responsibilities should be mutually respected.
