Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia has recently been in the spotlight for his controversial remarks on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent show. Amid the backlash, an old video of Priyanka Chopra giving him a fitting response about balancing fame and family has resurfaced online, winning praise from fans.
In the viral clip, taken from an interview two years ago, Allahbadia asked Chopra if her global fame prevented her from attending family gatherings. “Do you still go to family functions after the level of fame you have achieved?”
Priyanka, known for her candid and witty replies, wasted no time in shutting down the assumption. “So, you are saying I am not going to dance at the baarat of my brother’s wedding? Of course! My cousins, my brothers. Family is most important to me.”
The Quantico star further elaborated on the distinction between her professional life and personal values, making it clear that fame does not define her. “My fame is a by-product of my job. It does not define me. My fame is not my job. It’s very clear to me. I’m not famous for a living. I work for a living. And fame comes with it. So, it’s not something I can control. That’s something that’s thrust upon me.”

On the work fornt, Priyanka has several upcoming films and projects, including The Bluff, Heads of State, Citadel, and a film with SS Rajamouli. The shoot of SSMB29 is currently going on in Hyderabad.
