Priyanka Chopra sends love as Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha reveal baby boy’s name

Priyanka Chopra is celebrating a new milestone in the Chopra family as her cousin Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha revealed the name of their newborn son. The couple, who welcomed their baby boy in October, finally introduced him to the world by sharing his name in a heartfelt Instagram post that instantly went viral.

On Wednesday, Parineeti and Raghav shared two intimate photographs on social media, showing them lovingly kissing their son’s tiny feet. Although they chose to keep his face hidden, the couple opened up about the deep thought behind his name.

Their caption read, “Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him Neer—pure, divine, limitless.”

As wishes poured in across the internet, it was Priyanka Chopra’s reaction that caught attention. Lovingly called “Maasi” by fans, Priyanka was among the first to ‘like’ the announcement post. Others, including Varun Dhawan, Gauahar Khan, Kiara Advani, Ananya Panday, Mrunal Thakur, Rajkummar Rao, Alaya F and more, also sent their love through likes and heart emojis.

This is the couple’s first child after they tied the knot in a grand Udaipur ceremony on September 24, 2023.

When their son was born in October this year, Parineeti and Raghav had announced the news with a joyful message, writing, “He is finally here! Our baby boy. And we literally can't remember life before! Arms full, our hearts are fuller. First, we had each other, now we have everything.”

Professionally, Parineeti Chopra was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila, co-starring Diljit Dosanjh, which earned widespread appreciation for its music, storytelling and performances. Priyanka Chopra, meanwhile, is gearing up for a major homecoming with SS Rajamouli’s high-profile project Varanasi, which also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
