Jenna Ortega is back at the top of Netflix’s charts. Season 2 of Wednesday has officially cracked the streamer’s list of most popular English-language TV titles ever, reaching 94.5 million views to date.
The milestone came during the show’s second week of Part 2’s release, cementing its place as No. 10 on the list. In the process, it bumped out Stranger Things Season 3, which had been holding that spot since 2019.
Not that anyone’s surprised. Season 1 of Wednesday still sits firmly at No. 1, and the gothic teen mystery hasn’t really slowed down in popularity since its debut.
Still room to climb
Netflix’s all-time rankings are based on views measured up to 91 days after a show’s premiere—or in the case of split releases like Wednesday Season 2, 91 days after the final episodes drop. That means Ortega and her Addams Family crew have until early December to climb even higher on the chart.
For context, Wednesday Season 1 pulled in 252.1 million views in its first 91 days. Season 2’s early numbers show the same kind of momentum.
Not the top of the week, but close
Despite its strong showing, Wednesday wasn’t the week’s No. 1 Netflix title. From Sept. 8–14, the crown went to the Terence Crawford vs. Canelo Alvarez boxing match, which scored 17.7 million views.

Wednesday Season 2 followed with 15 million. Interestingly, Season 1 of the show is also still pulling numbers, landing in sixth place with another 3.6 million views.
What’s next for the Addams teen?
With Tim Burton’s vision, Jenna Ortega’s sharp performance, and a dedicated fan base, it’s safe to say Wednesday remains one of Netflix’s biggest cultural touchstones. The only question now is whether Season 2 can creep further up the all-time ladder before its December cutoff.
