After a long two-year break, The Morning Show is finally returning to Apple TV+. The Emmy-winning series, led by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, is dropping its fourth season on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Episodes will release weekly, stretching through November.
Fans last saw Alex Levy (Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon) navigating explosive fallout at UBA. Now, the network has merged into UBN, and things aren’t getting any calmer.
Season 4 plot: Power, trust, and deepfakes
According to Apple TV+, the new season dives into “newfound responsibility, hidden motives, and the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America.” Timely stuff, given the ongoing anxiety over AI and media credibility.
Expect newsroom clashes, power games, and personal stakes colliding with bigger cultural debates. Cosmopolitan noted the merger storyline forces the team to reckon with shifting alliances—and, yes, the rise of deepfakes that threaten public trust.
Cast: Familiar faces and fresh names
Jennifer and Reese are back, of course, alongside Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie, Karen Pittman, and Nestor Carbonell. Jon Hamm also returns as billionaire Paul Marks, whose season three entrance shook things up.
Season 4 also introduces heavyweight newcomers: Jeremy Irons as Alex’s father, Marion Cotillard as Celine Dumont, Boyd Holbrook as podcaster Brodie, Aaron Pierre as Miles, and William Jackson Harper as Ben, UBN’s new Head of Sports.
