Are you tired of the following fancy diet and easy remedies that promise to help you lose weight and also keep you healthy and energetic?  You can now switch to simple manageable habits that just need consistency.

Rujuta Diwekar, the nutritionist who guides Kareena Kapoor, recently took to Instagram to share three steps that anyone can adopt.

She reveals that maintaining good health and energy doesn’t require punishing routines or deprivation. All it needs is consistency, mindfulness and small lifestyle changes. By focusing on habits that respect both the body and daily life, Diwekar’s tips emphasise gradual improvements that one can continue, rather than dramatic transformations that fade quickly.

Tips to stay healthy

True health, says Diwekar, comes from small, consistent daily actions. Aim for slow, steady progress, like 5–7 percent weight loss per year, which is realistic, sustainable, and long-lasting. She suggests three powerful tips:

Including bajra roti into your weekly diet

This simple addition can support better energy, reduce hair fall, and strengthen immunity. Diwekar says you can enjoy bajrain many forms; roti, ladoo, sheera, or raab, choosing the version that you like best. “If bajra feels heavy to digest, simple tweaks can make it easier on the gut. Add a teaspoon of ghee or makkhan to the dough or mixing it with 50 percent rice flour can prevent bloating.” she suggests, and adds that ending your meal with a small piece of jaggery can aid digestion, and pairing bajra with digestion-friendly accompaniments like garlic chutney or turmeric achaar makes it even gentler on your system.

Stretching your back and hamstrings once a week

This keeps the posterior chain, the muscles that run from your heels to your skull, healthy and flexible. Regular flexibility work prevents injuries, restores balance, and improves strength and movement. Simple stretches like forward folds, supported hamstring stretches, and bent-knee hinging stretches can make a noticeable difference in how your body feels and moves.

Creating a designated screen zone at home

It can help transform your digital habits. Choose one specific place for using your devices and avoid phones at the dining table, in bed, or in the bathroom. This helps you stay mindful of screen time while improving posture. A standing-only scrolling corner, even a minimal one, encourages intentional device use, reduces sitting time, and helps keep your body aligned.
