Earlier, the Goa Police investigation revealed that the Luthra brothers had booked flight tickets to Thailand just as emergency teams were struggling to contain the blaze and rescue those trapped inside.

According to officials, the brothers made the booking on the MakeMyTrip (MMT) platform at 1:17 am on December 7, a time when both Goa Police and Goa Fire Services were actively engaged in firefighting operations at the site.

Five managers and staff members have already been arrested by Goa Police in connection with the fire that broke out at the nightclub located in Arpora, 25 km from Panaji, around midnight on December 6. On Wednesday, Birch by Romeo Lane's co-owner Ajay Gupta was also arrested in the case.
