Shehnaaz Gill cries while remembering Sidharth Shukla

Actress and singer Shehnaaz Gill grew visibly emotional as she remembered the late Sidharth Shukla, her dear friend and Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant, during a heartfelt conversation on Memorable Conversations with Faridoon Shahryar.

In a tender moment that left both the host and viewers moved, Shehnaaz’s eyes welled up as she spoke about the unbreakable bond she shared with Sidharth, who passed away unexpectedly in 2021.

Struggling to hold back her tears, she said softly, “Main usko thank you bolna chahti hu ki tune mera itna saath diya life main, aur main usko bolna chahti hu ki all the best, that’s it.”
(“I just want to thank him for always standing by me in life, and I want to wish him all the best, that’s it.”)

During the interview, Shehnaaz also reflected on how much she has changed since Sidharth’s passing. She shared that his presence in her life taught her invaluable lessons about strength, patience, and resilience. “He made me stronger,” she implied, adding that his influence continues to guide her through life’s challenges.

This wasn’t the first time Shehnaaz opened up about the loss. On Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, she had previously discussed how deeply Sidharth’s sudden death had affected her.

The 40-year-old actor’s passing from a cardiac arrest in September 2021 had left millions heartbroken, but none more so than Shehnaaz, who had shared an irreplaceable connection with him.

“Sidharth mujhe bohot maturity deke gaye hai,” she had said. “Jab woh sab kuch hua, uske baad mein mature ho gayi hoon. Nahi mein wahi Bigg Boss wali hoti—kisi duniya ki parwah nahi, kuch nahi.” (“Sidharth’s death has made me more mature. After everything that happened, I’ve grown as a person. I’m no longer the same carefree girl from Bigg Boss 13 who didn’t care about the world.”)
