Tanish Mahendru, who is seen as Sufiyan Siddique aka Sufi in Prateek Sharma’s Studio LSD’s Rabb Se Hai Dua, says though he enjoys being with everyone on the set, he bonds the most with Dheeraj Dhoopar, who plays his elder brother Subhaan Siddiqui in the show.
“I love being with everyone, but I bond the most with Dheeraj Bhai. We are like actual brothers, he guides me throughout our shoot. He loves telling me his stories about life, and he loves to share his experiences with me. It’s fun to be with him on the sets,” he said.
“The audience is loving Sufi and Subhaan’s bro-code. The supreme god is with us, we will, inshallah, make this the most successful show of the year,” he added.
Tanish also praised the producer of the show and called him a gentleman. He said, “Prateek Sharma, the producer, is a pure gentleman. He is the most kindhearted person I have ever come across. He has induced this confidence and courage within me, and that is why today I’m able to pull off this character so nicely. He is loving the way I’m performing and what else I can ask for. He is a game changer, the most courageous and spiritual person.”
He also mentioned that he loves his job and is never in a hurry to leave the set. “I’m never in a hurry to go home. I actually want to live on the set. I want to be on the set for as long as I can because I’m in love with my job,” he ended.
In January, when the news of actor Tanish Mahendru being roped in for Rabb Se Hai Dua surfaced, the actor mentioned that he will be playing the parallel lead, Sufi, who is a positive person, and stressed that this is his first “prominent acting project”. Prior to this, the actor has been working as a model for three years and has also been the face of many popular brands.
