Actress Vidhatri Bandi has starred in some blockbuster movies including Jalsa and Shiddat. She previously took a hiatus from acting but is all set to make a grand return on the silver screen. The actress will star in The Diplomat in a powerful role starring opposite John Abraham.

Vidhatri has recently expressed her gratitude for getting the opportunity to star in the latest film with an ensemble cast, especially after a challenging time in her career. The actress shared, “It has been a year of struggle, actually, a couple of years. After Jalsa and Max, Min & Meowzaki, this opportunity means a lot, not just for me but for every artist who struggles. The journey teaches you so much, and I am truly grateful to finally have the chance to play opposite John Abraham.”

The actress also talked about working with John Abraham and shared, “It was an incredible experience, our first time sharing the screen, and it was truly memorable. I hope we get more opportunities to work together in the future.” She also noted, “One has to be hopeful and keep on working and make the most of every opportunity that comes your way.”

Directed by Shivam Nair, Vidhatri will play the role of an embassy officer in The Diplomat. The highly-anticipated film is a masterful blend of politics and suspense, that takes the viewers in the thrilling world of international diplomacy. The Diplomat is set to release on March 7, 2025.

Vidhatri was last seen in Jalsa alongside Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah. The film received compliments from the critics and Vidhatri’s acting was also praised. The film revolves around a complicated hit-and-run accident that causes trouble for a journalist, a mother, a policeman, and the whole justice system.

Meanwhile, John Abraham was last seen in Vedaa alongside Sharvari Wagh which was released on August 15, 2024.
