Harvard-trained gastroenterologist Dr Saurabh Sethi took to his Instagram account to explain the benefits of consuming pumpkin seeds, which he called “magnesium bombs.” He hailed the “tiny seeds” for being loaded with powerful health benefits and added that if you are not incorporating them into your diet, you’re missing out.
Boosts immunity: They contain zinc and other antioxidants which help strengthen the immune system.
Boosts heart health: They contain magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids, which increase HDL, known as the good cholesterol, and reduce the risk of heart related problems.
Promotes better sleep: They calm your mind with tryptophan, which helps boost serotonin, and also contain magnesium, which supports muscle relaxation

Strengthen bones: They are loaded with magnesium and phosphorus, which help strengthen bones.
