John Abraham and Harshvardhan Rane have recently teamed up to promote the recently released film, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, and fans loved the collaboration.
However, John has again created a buzz among the fans after handing over the Force franchise to Harshvardhan.
Harshvardhan recently took to his Instagram Story and announced the news. He shared a picture of himself praying while wearing traditional clothing at the Trimbakeshwar Temple in Maharashtra.
He expressed his gratitude to John Abraham, the lead actor of the first two instalments of Force, in the caption. The actor wrote, “John Abraham locks Harshvardhan Rane for taking 'Force' franchise forward, under him.”
Expressing his gratitude, Harshvardhan added, "All I can do at this moment is thank this angel of a man called John Sir, while I look upwards and thank whoever is doing this from up there. I can't wait to begin shoot in March 2026. (No other details till I begin the shoot)."

The new movie, which is tentatively titled Force 3, is expected to start filming in March 2026.
The 2011 movie Force, which was produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Nishikant Kamat, marked the start of the franchise. John Abraham, Genelia Deshmukh, and an ensemble supporting cast starred in the remake of the Tamil film Kaakha Kaakha.
The original plot followed John's character, ACP Yashvardhan, and his team as they battled organised crime. They eventually attracted the notice and retaliation of Vishnu, a notorious gangster. The dramatic plot and intense action scenes in the movie were well-received.

Abhinay Deo's follow-up, Force 2, was released in 2016. Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin joined John in reprising his role. The plot followed ACP Yashvardhan as he collaborated with a RAW agent to find and stop a mole who was giving foreign enemies access to confidential information.
Meanwhile, plot details of Force 3 are currently kept under wraps.
