The actor, who has taken on a more serious role in this family drama, shared details about the incident on his social media handle and also gave a glimpse of the BTS moments.
United State of Gujarat is a family-oriented show that airs on both JioHotstar and Colors Gujarati. Kay, played by Sana Shaikh, sets off on a trip to uncover her roots and reunite with her family, which includes her mother Yamuna (Ami Trivedi) father Baa (Ragini Shah). Along with the poignant familial plotline, there is a sweet and sour romantic subplot with Kay and Keshav, played by Raj Anadkat.
Raj injured his eye while filming an action shoot for the show, causing it to swell noticeably.
Fans instantly noticed the injuries in his behind-the-scenes photos, and his puffed-up eye became a topic of discussion on social media.
Despite the incident, Raj continued with his shoot and even posted a playful message on social media: "Between takes and real moments, life lately is all action," followed by fun emojis.
Raj also paused to think on his job change. In a poignant statement, he recalls working on TMKOC for five years and filming over a thousand episodes. He expressed thanks for the adventure, but also indicated a desire to explore different characters and develop as an actor. "Sometimes you have to make such decisions in life.
