Aamir Khan Productions has introduced ten rising stars—Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar—who have each made a mark with their debut roles.

The film marks a notable collaboration between Aamir Khan and director R. S. Prasanna, best known for the critically acclaimed Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. Also starring Genelia Deshmukh, the film features music composed by the acclaimed trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and a screenplay written by Divy Nidhi Sharma.
