Shefali Jariwala and Parag Tyagi have been together for more than a decade

Kaanta Laga music video fame actress Shefali Jariwala tragically died at the age of 41 on Friday. Her last rites were performed on June 28, with her family and close friends attending the rituals to pay their last respects.

Several videos from the moment are going viral on social media. In one video, Shefali’s actor husband, Parag Tyagi, kissed his wife a final goodbye and caressed her cheeks. He was also spotted holding Shefali before saying a final goodbye to her.

Meanwhile, another video captured Shefali’s devastated mother, Sunita Jariwal, breaking down during the final rites in Mumbai. She was seen holding on to her body.

However, Arti Singh and Mahira Sharma also attended the final rites and were seen emotionally devastated.

Shefali’s final rites will take place today at Oshiwara Crematorium, the same place where Sidharth Shukla’s final rites were performed in 2021.

Shefali’s rakhi brother Hindustan Bhau also joined Parag Tyagi carrying Shefali Jariwala’s body to her bier. Given her marital status, the late actress’ body was covered in a red cloth at her residence. Hindustan Bhau supported Parag and Shefali’s family in the difficult moment.

The exact cause of Shefali Jariwala’s tragic death is yet to be known, but initial reports have suggested that she died after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai by her husband, Parag Tyagi, on Friday night, but the doctors declared her brought dead upon arrival.

The Mumbai police are currently investigating and were also spotted at Shefali's house, questioning the cook and house help.

Parag Tyagi first met Shefali Jariwala at a mutual friend's dinner party for the first time and instantly fell for her. Following her 2009 divorce from musician Harmeet Singh of Meet Bros, Shefali took a break from dating and, after a while, started seeing Parag. The couple dated for almost four years before getting married in 2014.
