Salman Khan fans have been waiting for months for the release of the highly anticipated film Sikandar. However, fans were left disappointed after Sikandar leaked online soon after it hit the theatres on March 30.
Despite being released only hours prior, the AR Murugadoss-directed action thriller is already available on various pirated sites, including Tamilrockers, Movierulz, Filmyzilla, and several Telegram groups, which are offering illegal download and streaming links.
Meanwhile, the makers took quick action and got it removed from 600 pirated sites.
Bollywood trade analyst Komal Nahta took to X and shared the update, writing, "The producer had the authorities pull the film down from 600 sites last night, but the harm had been done. The multiplication continued and is continuing." He added, "It's the worst nightmare for any producer."
The Indian film industry continues to grapple with the persistent problem of piracy despite strict anti-piracy laws and ongoing efforts to shut down illegal streaming sites.
In the case of Sikandar, the leak appears to have originated from camcorder recordings made in theatres, which are then quickly enhanced to HD quality and uploaded online within hours.

However, fans worldwide are excitedly celebrating the Eid release of Salman's film. Long queues are forming outside theatres as fans eagerly wait to watch the movie on the big screen. Several videos are going viral on social media, showing fans rejoicing, dancing, and even cutting cakes to wish Salman, affectionately known as "bhaijaan."
Salman’s latest film is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by A.R. Murugadoss. Sikandar features an impressive cast including Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Smita Patil, Sharman Joshi and Anjini Dhawan in key roles.
The film follows a courageous young person who dares to confront a deeply ingrained corrupt system, fighting for the rights of everyday people and shaking up the existing power dynamics in a society plagued by inequality.
