Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara isn't slowing down. The romantic musical, led by debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has now grossed a whopping ₹581 crore worldwide, cementing its place as one of 2025’s biggest success stories.
Released on July 18, the Yash Raj Films production is still pulling in crowds well into its seventh week. That’s despite facing off with heavy hitters like Dhadak 2, Coolie, War 2, and even Param Sundari. For a brief moment, Mahavtar Narsimha dented its numbers, but Saiyaara hasn’t really died down.
Ahaan Panday's mother Deanne Panday posted on Instagram and captioned, "Posted @withregram • @yrf The #Saiyaara wave is unstoppable, thanks to YOU, Watch it today, book tickets now (Link in bio of @yrf)"
At the box office, the film has collected ₹412 crore in India and another ₹169 crore overseas. Industry trackers noted how the film smashed records early — ₹172.75 crore in its opening week alone, followed by ₹107.75 crore in week two.
The momentum dipped in later weeks (₹28.25 crore in week three, ₹14.1 crore in week four), but the drop wasn’t sharp enough to kill the buzz. Even in its sixth week, the film raked in steady weekend numbers: ₹35 lakh on Friday, ₹70 lakh on Saturday, and a healthy ₹80 lakh on Sunday.

Fans have praised both the music and the emotional punch of the story, which follows Krish Kapoor, a struggling musician (Ahaan Panday), and Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda), a writer battling early-onset Alzheimer’s.
The film’s performance has also raised eyebrows in the industry, given that even superstar-led projects like Hrithik Roshan’s and Rajinikanth’s recent outings stumbled. For YRF it’s another story that coupled with fresh faces, and pulled audiences back to theaters.
Seven weeks in, and Saiyaara still looks far from done.
