Actor and singer Shruti Haasan melted hearts with a beautiful birthday message for her father, the legendary Kamal Haasan, who turned 71 today.

Taking to social media, Shruti shared a deeply personal note filled with love, admiration, and gratitude for the man she calls her “favourite human” and “incredible appa.”

“Happy birthday to my favourite human who also happens to be my incredible appa :) Thank you for your words of wisdom that you impart with such ease and humour. Thank you for being the most adorable daddy who still buys me my favourite cookies and snacks yourself, the best person to sing with and talk music and movies, and for being the one person who makes me laugh through everything,” she wrote.

Along with the heartfelt note, Shruti shared a few adorable clips and photos that truly captured their bond, from childhood pictures and warm hugs to playful selfies and even a clip of the two grocery shopping together.

Continuing her note, Shruti wrote,

“This birthday I wish for you to be all that you continue to dream to be … your magic, your sparkle, and your gorgeous soul are without comparison in this universe. Happy happy to you.”

Even after doing films since decades in cinema, Kamal Haasan continues to inspire generations with his creativity and vision. From Nayakan and Indian to Vikram, he has redefined storytelling in Indian cinema.

Kamal Haasan and superstar Rajinikanth are scheduled to work together on the next movie, Thalaivar 173. The film, which will be directed by Sundar C. and produced by Kamal Haasan, will feature Rajinikanth.

On Wednesday, Kamal Haasan made the official announcement on Instagram. A photo of the seasoned actors' trembling hands was also included in the post. Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan were seen posing with the crew in another photo.
