Salman Khan’s reputation as one of Bollywood’s most generous stars has often been acknowledged by his colleagues, and now actor Ranvir Shorey has added his voice to the chorus.

The Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger 3 actor recently spoke about his experience working with Salman, firmly rejecting filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap’s past claims that Salman and his family were “vindictive.”

During an interview, Ranvir was asked directly about Kashyap’s remarks. Without hesitation, he clarified that his own experience with Salman had been nothing but positive.

“Ye woh, unka koi personal grudge hoga, mera to kaafi accha hai, he’s very generous human being, generous co-actor, unki family, Salim sahab ki mai bahot izzat karta hoon, unke jo dono bhai hai unko bhi mai bahot pasand karta hoon, they’re gentlemen. Main to nahi, unka koi personal hoga, aur, mai ye nahi keh raha hoon ki kisi ka kisi ke saath personal nahi hona chahiye, mera bhi kai logon ke saath personal hai, but mai ittefaq nahi rakhta (That must be his personal grudge, but my experience has been very good. He’s a very generous human being, a generous co-actor. I have a lot of respect for his family, for Salim Sahab, and I also like both his brothers very much — they’re gentlemen. For me, no, I don’t have that experience. He (Abhinav) may have something personal, and I’m not saying that people shouldn’t have personal issues with one another — I myself have them with some people — but I don’t agree with his view)"

Ranvir’s candid response highlighted not only his respect for Salman but also for the entire Khan family, including veteran writer Salim Khan and Salman’s brothers.

He emphasised the warmth and support he has personally experienced by describing Salman as a generous co-actor as well as a generous human being.

Abhinav Kashyap's previous accusations, which presented a different image of Salman, are in stark contrast to this statement. However, Ranvir made it clear that Kashyap's personal grievances are his own. Salman has always been professional, courteous, and encouraging to him.

Salman Khan’s track record in the industry supports this perspective.

In addition to being a superstar, he is renowned for lending a helping hand to coworkers, newcomers, and even competitors when necessary.

Ranvir's remarks confirm what many in the business have previously stated: Salman's generosity is a defining characteristic of his character, both on and off screen.

The irony is not lost when considering that it was Salman who gave Abhinav Kashyap his big break, backing him with Dabangg — the film that became a blockbuster and established Kashyap as a name in Bollywood. Ranvir’s refusal to endorse Abhinav’s claims only adds weight to the argument that such allegations may be more personal than professional.
