On December 13, 2024, Mumbai will witness a spectacular celebration as the Kapoor family, alongside luminaries from the Indian film industry, gather to mark the centenary of the legendary Raj Kapoor. The event will be held at PVR Infinity Mall in Andheri West and it will be a grand tribute to the visionary filmmaker who shaped the golden era of Indian cinema.

This unique gathering will bring together the entire Kapoor family, from the iconic Randhir Kapoor to the younger generation stars such as Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Alia Bhatt. Their collective presence highlights the Kapoor family's pride in honoring and preserving Raj Kapoor's remarkable cinematic legacy.

The celebration promises to be an unforgettable evening, with Bollywood’s biggest stars walking the red carpet. Among the esteemed guests will be legendary figures like Rekha and Jeetendra, along with cinematic visionaries such as Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rajkumar Hirani, and Karan Johar.

Leading actors including Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol will also be in attendance, adding to the glamour of the occasion.

In addition to the grand event, R.K. Films, the Film Heritage Foundation, and NFDC-National Film Archive of India have joined forces to present Raj Kapoor 100 – Celebrating the Centenary of the Greatest Showman. This festival will showcase curated screenings of ten of Raj Kapoor’s iconic films across 40 cities and 135 cinemas, including PVR-Inox and Cinepolis theaters.

In the spirit of Raj Kapoor's commitment to inclusivity, tickets are priced at an affordable Rs 100, honoring his belief in making cinema a universal experience accessible to all.
