Proud father Chiranjeevi shares emotional note for Ram Charan on completing 18 years in films: "I wish that you will scale many more peaks"

Taking to X on Sunday, Chiranjeevi penned a heartfelt note, praising Ram Charan's immense dedication towards the craft over the years and also expressed his admiration for his son.

Telugu superstar Ram Charan completed 18 years in the film industry today (September 28). The actor made his acting debut with the 2007 film Chirutha. Proud father and veteran actor Chiranjeevi marked this special milestone for his son Ram Charan with a post on social media.

Taking to X on Sunday, Chiranjeevi penned a heartfelt note, praising Ram Charan's immense dedication towards the craft over the years and also expressed his admiration for his son.

The note read, "Charan Babu, I am immensely delighted that your cinematic journey, which began 18 years ago with ‘Chirutha’, has today firmly established itself in the hearts of millions of fans. The moment I saw you as a hero on screen.. As a father, I can never forget it. Your discipline, hard work, determination, humility, and dedication have made you stand out even more uniquely in the industry."

In a special delight for Ram Charan fans, the makers of his upcoming release Peddi shared a special poster of the actor, seen standing on the train tracks with a bidi in his mouth and a bat in his bag.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi will star Ram Charan alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu. The film is set to release worldwide on March 26, 2026.
