Priyanka Chopra reveals daughter Malti Marie started going to school in New York, says "her schedule’s even crazier than mine"

Priyanka Chopra teases Malti Marie's busy schedule

Global actress Priyanka Chopra, who is gearing up for her upcoming action thriller, Heads of State, has recently shared a latest update about her daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, whom she shares with her singer husband, Nick Jonas.

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Priyanka revealed that her daughter has started school in New York, which has made it hard to balance her shoot schedule with motherhood.

However, the actress revealed that despite her packed schedule, her daughter, Malti Marie, has a more hectic routine. The actress said, “She’s precocious, she’s funny, she’s a little comedian. She knows she’s funny, so that’s even better.”

Priyanka added, “She’s such a light in our lives right now. This is an amazing season for us. Nick has been on Broadway for the last five years. We were in New York, hunkered down.”

However, the actress also opened up about filming in India and said, “I’m filming a movie in India, so I fly back and forth from there. So we’re based in the East Coast summer right now, and she’s (Malti) going to school here.”

“She has her little clique of friends, and her schedule’s even crazier than mine. There are so many classes. Kids do so much. She wants to socialise with other babies,” added Priyanka. The actress took a frequent trip to India for her upcoming film, SSMB29, alongside Mahesh Babu. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the highly anticipated action-adventure also features Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is currently promoting her upcoming film, Heads of State, which also stars John Cena, Jack Quaid, among others. The action thriller revolves around the U.K. Prime Minister and U.S. President becoming the targets of a foreign adversary, and they're forced to rely on one another to thwart a global conspiracy.

Heads of State will premiere on July 2 on Prime Video.
