Prithviraj Sukumaran's next film #NOBODY commences filming officially with puja ceremony

The highly anticipated film #NOBODY, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Hakim Shajahan, officially kicked off its production journey with a ceremonial pooja and switch-on event held on April 9.

The eagerly awaited film #NOBODY, featuring a powerhouse cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Hakim Shajahan, officially began the film's journey with a traditional pooja and switch-on ceremony on April 9. The event took place at the scenic Wellington Island in Ernakulam, setting a serene tone for what promises to be a gripping production.

Helmed by the acclaimed filmmaker Nissam Basheer and scripted by the talented Sameer Abdul, #NOBODY is poised to deliver a potent mix of emotion, intensity, and commanding performances.

The film brings together an exceptional team, with production being spearheaded by Supriya Menon, Mukesh Mehta, and C.V. Sarathi under the respected banners of Prithviraj Productions and E4 Experiments.

Enhancing the film's emotional landscape is the music of Harshavardhan Rameshwar, celebrated for his stirring work in Animal. His involvement ensures that the soundtrack will resonate deeply, adding yet another compelling layer to this much-anticipated cinematic endeavor.

It also features Ashokan, Madhupal, Lukman Avaran, Ganapathi and Vinay Fort in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Prithviraj was last seen in his third directorial film L2: Empuraan starring Mohanlal. Released on March 27, Empuraan is the sequel to the hit Malayalam film Lucifer.

However, the film has garnered much attention after it became a controversy due to certain scenes which depicted the 2002 Gujarat riots. Meanwhile, L2: Empuraan has faced intense criticism from right-wing groups due to its political and social themes, particularly the portrayal of the 2002 Gujarat riots depicted in the film's opening sequence. The backlash led the filmmakers to make voluntary edits, removing 17 scenes from the original version. Despite citicisms, the film garnered mixed review.
