Music producer and DJ Mark Ronson is no stranger to high-profile events — but even he admits that playing at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding would be something special.
While chatting on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, the Grammy and Oscar winner was asked if he’d be up for DJing the much-anticipated wedding of the pop superstar and NFL star, following their engagement earlier this year. His answer? Playful but full of possibility.
“I think there [are] a lot of people putting themselves up for that gig. Me, I am keeping the year open as well ’cause you don’t know [who might get that call],” Ronson joked, clearly not ruling anything out.
And it turns out, Taylor may have already had a glimpse of what Ronson brings to the decks. He recently DJed at the wedding of Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco — two of Taylor’s close friends — and while she was reportedly in attendance, he’s not entirely sure he made a lasting impression.
“I did DJ a wedding that apparently she was at a week ago,” he said. “I did not see her on the dance floor, so I probably didn’t do the best job at selling my services there.”

Still, the night meant a lot to him. “It was a lot of fun. I’ve known Benny for 10 years and when he got engaged, he was like, ‘Will you come and do a 90s DJ set at my wedding?’ And I was like, ‘Sure!’”
Meanwhile, Swift and Kelce’s love story continues to charm fans. Kelce proposed in August, turning his Kansas City garden into a magical space filled with flowers. The couple announced their engagement on Instagram with the playful caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Taylor later opened up about the proposal during an interview on The Graham Norton Show, saying, “He really crushed it in surprising me. … He went all out — 10 out of 10.”
