One of Bollywood's most adored and renowned actresses, Preity Zinta, is currently celebrating a recent victory for her IPL team, the Punjab Kings.

The actress made the decision to take a quick respite from her hectic schedule following their victory over the Rajasthan Royals, which sent them into the playoffs.

She then went to the holy Khatu Shyam Ji temple in Reengus to take Shyam Baba for his blessings. Since then, a video of her visit has gone viral on social media.

Even though Preity Zinta has lived overseas since getting married, she still maintains a close bond with her heritage. The actress constantly honours her spiritual side by participating in the grand Maha Kumbh or praying at the Golden Temple in Amritsar.

Preity travelled to the Khatu Shyam Temple in Reengus following the Punjab Kings' victory over the Rajasthan Royals on May 18 in Jaipur. Her devotion is evident in the widely shared footage of her visit, which shows her at the temple with a dupatta draped over her head, humbly praying with her hands folded and asking for divine blessings.

Preity Zinta made her first pilgrimage to the temple during this visit to Khatu Shyam's court. She approached the deity with reverence while wearing a dainty baby pink suit. Her calm face and serene expression conveyed the peace and tranquillity she experienced during the spiritual experience. As she bowed her head in prayer, her humility was evident.

As per News 18, Pratap Singh, the former President of the Shri Shyam Mandir Samiti, gave her a warm welcome and made sure Preity observed all of the temple's religious traditions. At the Mandir Samiti office, Preity received a Shyam dupatta following her prayers.

She also received a silver insignia as a sign of respect from Manvendra Chauhan, the Nij Mandir Pujari Sevak Parivar Khatushyam Ji.
