Citadel co-stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan engage in some late-night ‘hot’ and fun banter

Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be soon seen in the Indian version of 'Citadel'.

Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in the spy series ‘Citadel.’ The two actors seem to have become good friends over the course of their shoot, and they were seen engaging in some fun and ‘hot’ banter on their social media.

It so happened that Varun Dhawan shared a picture of him sporting a clean-shaven look without any caption. Samantha was quick to make a comment on his picture, and she wrote, "Who is this teenager?”

To this, Varun replied, “Samantha Ruth Prabhu, I don’t know. I think he’s working with this pretty hot girl this summer in a series.”

Citadel has been directed by Raj and DK. It is the Indian adaptation of the international series of the same name, which was created by the Russo Brothers.

Reports suggest that both Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan have done intense action scenes in the series.

There is nothing being told about the storyline of the Indian version of 'Citadel', but Priyanka Chopra, who was the lead in the American version of the series, had recently said that both storylines are connected.

Apart from Citadel, Varun Dhawan will be seen in a film by Jawan director Atlee. Besides that, he will also be seen in the remake of the Tamil film Theri, which had Vijay in the lead. The Hindi version will have Sanya Malhotra, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff, and Sheeba.

Meanwhile, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, myositis, in 2022, after which she took a break from acting. But the actress has now resumed work, and she also does podcasts on topics like health and mental wellbeing.
