"Performing live on stage after so long, and especially as the opening act for a musician like Diljit Dosanjh, was definitely special for me. This song holds a special place in my heart, and I was eager to share it with the audience," he said after the performance.

Diljit had performed to his hits Punjabi and Hindi songs at the concert. He also addressed the fact that Punjabis cannot act in films, and their movies can't go to Mumbai.

“They said Punjabis can't do fashion, and I said, I will show you. They said Punjabis can't act in films; I showed them I could. They said Punjabis did Punjabi movies but couldn't go to Mumbai, and I proved them wrong," he said.

Diljit is riding high on the success of his latest release, a biopic on Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila. He was seen opposite Parineeti Chopra in the movie.
