Sonakshi Sinha does Anil Kapoor’s iconic My Name is Lakhan step, hugs Rekha

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal officially tied the knot yesterday, 23 June, in an intimate wedding ceremony followed by a grand reception attended by family, friends and Bollywood bigwigs. The bride posed and danced with celebrities, including Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Kajol, and more, all night long.

Videos and pictures from the reception are going viral on social media. A video of Sonakshi dancing with Bollywood superstar Anil Kapoor has been making headlines. The ‘Heeramandi’ actress was captured doing the iconic My Name is Lakhan step with Kapoor. She was later seen hugging him and thanking him for coming to the reception.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding reception was also attended by the legendary actress Rekha. The actress was captured hugging Rekha in a sweet and emotional moment. Rekha also blessed the to-be-married couple Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth at the reception. Siddharth was seen touching Rekha’s feet after the trio posed on the red carpet.

Sonakshi’s ‘Heeramandi’ co-star Richa Chadha also attended the reception with her husband Ali Fazal joined by Tabu, Raveena Tandon and Vidya Balan, Salman Khan, Huma Qureshi and Kajol.

Sonakshi Sinha shared a beautiful moment with Kajol while dancing at the reception. Kajol shared the groovy video on her social media account which showcased the blissful looks on their faces. Kajol was also captured interacting with the happy parents of Sonakshi, Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha. She was seen hugging them and congratulating them on their daughter’s wedding.

Actor Chunky Panday and Anil Kapoor even had a reunion on the red carpet of the reception. The two Bollywood stars embraced each other and posed for pictures together.

Yo Yo Honey Singh, Anushka Ranjan, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal, her husband Aman Mehta, Saqib Saleem, Gulshan Devaiah, Kallirroi Tziafeta, and Zoya Murani also graced the event. Aanand L Rai, Reema Kagti, Subhash Ghai, Daisy Shah, Sangeeta Bijlani Ramesh Sippy, and Fardeen Khan were also amongst those in attendance.
