Rajkumar Hirani not working on a project with Shah Rukh Khan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu: Source

Over the weekend, there were reports that ace director Rajkumar Hirani is soon going to start his new project, which will feature superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles. It got their fans excited.

Now, a source close to director Rajkumar Hirani has reacted to the reports and refuted rumours of working on this project.

A source close to the director said that Rajkumar Hirani strongly denies the rumours.

"Raju Sir is currently busy writing his next film. There have been no discussions with SRK (Shah Rukh Khan) or Samantha (Ruth Prabhu) regarding any project," said the source.

The source also laughed off the idea of Shah Rukh Khan and Samantha collaborating on an untitled action-adventure patriotic movie as 'completely baseless and untrue.'

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki', which had Taapsee Pannu opposite him. The movie did fairly well at the box office.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently working on his next movie, 'King', which will mark the big screen debut of his daughter Suhana Khan. The actors are shooting for the movie in London, and it is believed to be an action movie. The actor is going be seen in the shades of grey in ‘King’.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, on the other hand, will be seen in 'Citadel' with Varun Dhawan. She is currently working on her Telugu movies as well.
