Billy Zane looks like Marlon Brando’s twin in new biopic, see pics

Hollywood actor Billy Zane has left fans in utter shock after seeing him as Marlon Brando for the first time since the shooting of the biopic started. The biopic is titled ‘Waltzing with Brando’.

Billy Zane looks so identical to the late Oscar winning star, it is uncanny. Zane shared pictures on his Instagram in the getup of Brando.

The caption of the post read - “The true story of Marlon as the ‘Godfather’ of the environmental movement, spearheading sustainable, zero carbon architecture and design upon his private Island of Tetiaroa back in 1970!”

Zane also spoke about the ‘Godfather’ actor in an interview with Deadline, “Back then no one would touch causes. He championed civil rights, he marched with Dr. Martin Luther King. He walked the walk for civil rights; he did it for Indigenous rights. What no one knows about is what he did for the environment as an activist and the foresight he had on what in fact would become a climate crisis.”

The official description of the novel reads - “Waltzing with Brando is the story of a young Los Angeles architect who found himself, quite unexpectedly, living on an unpopulated atoll in the South Pacific with his client, Marlon Brando. The book is filled with amusing anecdotes about his famous client. It exposes Marlon Brando the man, not the actor, his foibles and eccentricities and regales the reader with Brando's ridiculous exploits with women. It tells of how Brando and his architect came to an understanding, an appreciation for the atoll's archeology, its ecology, and the interdependence of its marine life, sea birds and nesting turtle grounds.”

Reportedly, the film will also recreate scenes from Brando’s classic films ‘The Godfather’ and ‘Last Tango in Paris’.

The Bill Fishman directed biopic also stars Tia Carrere, Richard Dreyfuss, Jon Heder, Alaina Huffman and Rob Corddry.

The release date is not yet known.
