Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur call it quits after dating for two years, reports

Ananya and Aditya never officially acknowledged their relationship, yet their vacation snapshots regularly surfaced online. Moreover, they were notably absent together at the recent premiere of Heeramandi.

Actors Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur, who had been dating each other for the past two years, have reportedly parted ways.

According to a report in the Bombay Times, the couple separated in the month of March this year. A close friend of the actors said that the two parted ways amicably.

“They broke up almost a month ago. They were going quite well, and the breakup came as a shock to all of us. They are cordial with each other. Ananya is trying to move on; of course, there’s hurt. She is spending time with her new furry friend. Aditya is also trying to deal with the situation maturely,” said the friend.

Ananya is now spending time with her new pup, whose images she shared a few days ago.

Three days ago, Ananya shared a picture introducing her pup to her fans.

She had written: “Guys, say hello to my baby jaan - “RIOT” he is the cutest little boy in the whole wide world and I’m madly obsessed PS: This is gonna become a RIOT fan page”

Ananya Panday’s cryptic post last month hinted that she had broken up with Aditya. “If it is truly meant for you, it will come back to you. It will leave only for the sake of teaching you the lessons you could only learn on your own. If it is truly meant for you, it will return even if you’ve pushed it away, even if you’re in denial, even if you assume something so beautiful could never be truly yours, because if it’s truly meant for you, it is never not a piece of you. It is never not intricately tied into the depths of your soul,” read the quote shared by Ananya on her Instagram.

Ananya and Aditya never accepted being in a relationship, but their holiday pictures always made it to the net. The two were also not spotted together at the premiere of Heeramandi a few days ago.

It was during Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee With Karan 7’ episode last year when the host dropped a hint that she and Aditya were together.

Ananya and Aditya enjoyed a holiday in Europe and also attended an Arctic Monkeys concert together in Madrid. The two never accepted or denied anything in public.
