‘Furiosa: A mad Max Saga’ star Chris Hemsworth officially made his Met Gala debut hitting the red carpet today at the 2024 met gala with his lovely spouse, Elsa Pataky.
The actor and Met Gala co-chair kept it absolutely timeless in a complementary off-white three-piece Tom Ford suit. Alongside, Elsa Pataky wore a coordinating neutral golden long-sleeved gown with a mock turtleneck. She adorned her blonde hair with a golden laurel crown and wore matching gold arm cuffs on both wrists, adding a unique touch to her ‘Rapunzel’ ensemble.
Hemsworth joins Zendaya, Bad Bunny, and Jennifer Lopez as a co-chair for the 2024 Met Gala theme, "Sleeping Beauties: Awakening Fashion," making his debut appearance at the prestigious event.
On being asked about how it feels about the being the co chair for the glamorous event, the actor replied, Its quite an honor to be here. To be honest I had to ask my wife [Elsa] what the logistics and what happens in this event, because I've never been, but Elsa knows much more about the fashion world. Being from Australia, a little coastal town, this all feels very new to me”.
The couple also shared their interest on being able to meet the sensational pop artist ‘Ed Sheeran’. “Ed Sheeran is a good friend of mine but he hasn’t met Elsa. So I’m gonna making him come meet my wife” said Hemsworth.
The 2024 Met Gala is set to honor the Costume Institute's latest showcase, titled "Sleeping Beauties: Reviving Fashion," with a unique theme: "The Garden of Time.”
