Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar unveiled the first poster of his latest romantic venture, Chand Mera Dil, set to bring a new dreamy romance to audiences in 2025. Featuring new jodi Ananya Panday and Lakshya Lalwani in the lead roles, the film promises to be a heartfelt love story.
Produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Chand Mera Dil is directed by Vivek Soni, who is known for his previous work, Meenakshi Sundareshwar (2021), a movie that won hearts with its sweet depiction of relationships and modern love.
Karan took to social media to make the official announcement. This reveal comes a day after he teased fans with an Instagram post showing a heart, hinting at the upcoming project. In his teaser, he wrote, “Love …. Pyar…. Ishq … Mohabbat… We @dharmamovies have always told love stories with passion and compassion…. We try and tell love stories that deeply resonate with an audience and also entertain them with music that is everlasting … After a while we are back with a love story with a young cast and we are over the ‘moon’… Watch this space.”
With this new film, KJo seeks to reintroduce the magic of love that Dharma Productions is celebrated for, blending timeless romance with fresh, young energy. The poster series, which Karan Johar shared alongside the announcement, offers a glimpse into the tone and visual style of Chand Mera Dil. In the images, Ananya Panday and Lakshya Lalwani share intimate, heartwarming moments, creating a sense of romantic nostalgia reminiscent of classic Bollywood love stories. The scenes hint at a cozy, small-town setting, adding charm to the film’s visual appeal.
