He said not only because of the platform it has given him now, but also because of the grit it demanded from him in the past.
“Mumbai is very special for me, I have worked as an office boy and a producer’s driver decades ago. Maine Mumbai ka famous Vada Pav khaya hai Andheri ke road par. Aur ab main yaha aaj ye stage pe hu,” Shetty said, drawing applause from the crowd.
