Parmish Verma is all set to make his mark in the upcoming web series Kanneda, set to premiere on JioHotstar. The makers unveiled the teaser on Tuesday, building anticipation for the show’s release on March 21, 2025.
The series follows Nimma’s journey as he flees the devastating 1984 anti-Sikh riots and arrives in Canada, hoping for a fresh start. However, he soon realizes that the streets are unforgiving, the system is flawed, and he isn’t exactly welcomed with open arms. Kanneda delves into his struggles as he navigates the stark contrast between his dreams and the harsh reality of his new life.
Expressing his excitement for the show, Parmish Verma said, “This series is very close to my heart. Nimma’s story is about identity, ambition, and the thirst for power. Playing Nimma was a unique experience and as an artist, it was an incredibly fulfilling one. I have put my heart and soul into Kanneda. I am super excited for its release on JioHotstar and am looking forward to the audiences’ reaction.”

Produced by Jar Pictures and helmed by director Chandan Arora, Kanneda features Parmish Verma in the lead role as Nimma, alongside an ensemble cast that includes Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Ranvir Shorey, Arunoday Singh, Aadar Malik, and Jasmin Bajwa.
