Jaya Bachchan again objects Rajya Sabha Chairman for addressing her by husband Amitabh Bachchan's name

This time, her grievance is against Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar for addressing her by her husband Amitabh Bachchan's name. During the session, she lost her calm and asserted that it would have been sufficient if she was addressed simply as Jaya Bachchan. On August 5, Jaya Bachchan once again raised her objection when the Chairman referred to her using her husband's name. She emphasized that being addressed by her full name would be more appropriate and respectful.

He added that there is a provision to change the name on the election certificate if one desires.
