Janhvi Kapoor is preparing for the release of her upcoming film, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, after capturing the hearts of the public with her performance in Param Sundari. The makers released the trailer of the film today in a grand event held in Mumbai.
During the trailer launch event, director Shashank Khaitan talked candidly about collaborating with Janhvi again following her debut in Dhadak. He shared that the actress has matured greatly over the years and is now venturing into an uncharted territory, outright comedy.
The filmmaker commended Janhvi's comedic side, pointing out that viewers will be pleasantly surprised by her timing and commercial appeal.
He said, “I worked with Janhvi Kapoor for, first time in her debut film Dhadak, and after so many years, we got a chance to work in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. She had a lot of experience, and also this genre is something which she has not done before, and when people see the film, they will realise the comic side she has, the commercial appeal, and it takes time to come out.”
“I was really impressed by that. We have rehearsed a lot. There is a saying that comedy films or films of this genre don't require rehearsal, but in fact, this demands more rehearsal to bring the perfect timing . This is Shashank Khaitan's statement for Janhvi Kapoor,” added the filmmaker.
Janhvi Kapoor's role as Tulsi Kumari feels like a welcome change after the trailer was released today. While the trailer teases an intriguing character that promises to reveal a new side of Janhvi on the big screen, her dazzling chemistry with Varun Dhawan immediately captures attention.
On the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor will also be seen in Homebound, which is already receiving praise at the International Film Festival. She will also be starring with Ram Charan in Peddi.
