Esha Deol shares mom Hema Malini's dating advice, says, "Try and continue working"

Esha Deol and mom Hema Malini share a close bond

Actress Eisha Deol went through a divorce a few years back. However, her mother Hema Malini supported her throughout her journey and shared some strong advice over the years that has helped the actress

In a recent interview with The Quint, Esha Deol has recently reflected on Hema Malini’s advice. She shared, “Something that I think that every mother would want to tell their daughters especially, it’s very important is to have your own self-identity, even after marriage.”

The actress added, And she always told me you have worked hard and made a name and you have a profession. Even if you have not made a name, you have a profession, that’s your thing. Never stop that. Try and continue working.”

Esha Deol further noted, "One thing which is very important in life and should never die out is, romance. She said that is something that just gives you those butterflies in your stomach. It’s that feeling, we all want it. I have that advice in my head but I have not acted upon it yet.”

For the unaware, Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s daughter Esha Deol married Bharat Takhtani in Mumbai in 2012. The former couple welcomed two daughters, Radhya, in 2017, and Miraya, born in 2019. Esha and Bharat Takhtani parted ways in February 2024 after 11 years of their marriage.

On the professional front, Esha Deol is all set to return to the big screen with Vikram Bhatt's Tumko Meri Kasam, which is scheduled to be released in theatres today. The film is said to be loosely based on the life of Dr Ajay Murdia, the founder of Indira IVF, a chain of fertility clinics. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Adah Sharma, and Ishwak Singh.
