Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai morphed image

A photograph circulating online has sparked curiosity, claiming to show Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Arpita Khan posing together at the lavish wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The grand event, which took place on Friday, July 12, has been a magnet for celebrity sightings. However, the purported reunion of exes Salman and Aishwarya at the wedding is a fabrication.

In truth, Salman Khan attended the wedding with his sister, Arpita Khan. The siblings were seen posing together on the red carpet, presenting a united family front. Later in the evening, Aishwarya Rai arrived solo, further debunking the viral image that mischievous social media users have morphed. This doctored photograph merges Aishwarya’s solo red carpet shot with a picture of Salman and Arpita to falsely suggest a reunion at the wedding.

Despite the fake photo, the wedding itself was a dazzling affair, filled with Bollywood stars and international celebrities. Aishwarya Rai opted for a stunning red ensemble for the wedding ceremony, while Salman Khan chose a sleek black outfit. At the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony, Aishwarya wore a vibrant kurta-style gown, and Salman reverted to his classic suits. Aishwarya’s daughter, Aaradhya, accompanied her mother, dressed in traditional attire fitting the celebratory mood.

Mukesh and Nita Ambani hosted the wedding festivities with a series of elaborate ceremonies at their residence, Antilia, and the Jio World Centre in BKC, Mumbai. The events kicked off with the Mameru ceremony, followed by the grand wedding on July 12. The Shubh Aashirwad ceremony took place on July 13, adhering to a formal Indian dress code. The celebrations will culminate with the Mangal Utsav, or wedding reception, on July 14, with a theme of Indian chic.

The star-studded event saw a mix of Bollywood and international celebrities, including global icons like Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian. Kim, who has been sharing snippets of the celebration on social media, even caused a stir with a selfie featuring Bollywood star Ranveer Singh. The Kardashian sisters embraced Indian fashion, wearing traditional outfits for the wedding functions.

Other notable guests included Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh. The pre-wedding celebrations featured performances by renowned artists like Diljit Dosanjh, Arijit Singh, and international pop star Rihanna, adding to the grandeur of the occasion.
