Nandamuri Balakrishna's film Daaku Maharaaj experienced a decline in its box office collections on the second day of its release. According to Sacnilk.com, the film managed to earn around Rs 40 crore within its first two days in theatres. On day one, the film had a strong opening, collecting Rs 25.35 crore. However, on the second day, which was Monday, Daaku Maharaaj saw a significant dip, earning only Rs 13.50 crore, as per early estimates. The total earnings so far have reached Rs 38.85 crore.
The film had a Telugu occupancy rate of 39.76% on Monday, indicating that fewer people turned out to watch the movie compared to the opening day. The film has received mixed reviews from audiences and critics alike, which may have contributed to the decline in collections.
Despite the drop on day two, Daaku Maharaaj had an impressive start. Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments announced that the film earned a whopping Rs 56 crore gross worldwide on its opening day. This figure marked Daaku Maharaaj as Balakrishna’s biggest opening ever. The film’s success was celebrated by the team, with a post on X (formerly Twitter) stating, “#DaakuMaharaaj sets the box office on fire and owns SANKRANTHI with Thunderous BLOCKBUSTER. 56 Crores+ Worldwide Gross on DAY 1. #BlockbusterHuntingDaakuMaharaaj – THE BIGGEST OPENING for #NBK garu."

Apart from Nandamuri Balakrishna, Daaku Maharaaj also stars Bobby Deol, Urvashi Rautela, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and Chandhini Chowdary. This film marks Bobby Deol's Telugu debut. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film features music by S Thaman and was produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. The action-packed film hit theatres on January 12, where Balakrishna plays the role of a notorious dacoit, "Daaku Maharaaj," while Bobby Deol plays the villain.
