Comedian Sapan roasts Abhishek Bachchan, says “25 years in industry, 3 years fighting trolls on Twitter”

Comedian Sapan hilariously summed up Abhishek Bachchan's career during a roast, mentioning his two and a half decades in the Bollywood industry and his most recent three-year tenure as a champion in the fight against Twitter trolls.

In a video posted by comedian Sapan from the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IIFM) which was attended by several actors including Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aditi Rao, Jaideep Ahlawat and many more went viral.

The event that was hosted by Sapan, saw him roasting and having fun with the actors present for the event.

The comedian also roasted Abhishek Bachchan for his film ‘I want to Talk’

In the video Sapan said, “Very special year for you sir, you completed 25 years in the industry if I am not wrong? 25 years out of which Abhishek spent 15 years acting in theatrical films, about 7 years acting in OTT films, and 3 years fighting with trolls on twitter.”

He further stated, “But you were amazing in ‘I Want To Talk’ directed by Shoojit Sarkar. Sir I have a question for you, in this movie ‘I Want To Talk’ Abhishek’s character he has a difficulty speaking, couple of years ago you made a movie with his father Amitabh Bachchan called ‘Piku’ in which he has difficulty pooping, so I want to know are you making films or are you trying to do Bachchan family’s full body health check-up?"

Recently Abhishek became the part of the celebrities who reached out to the court for protection against misuse of their identity. The actor on Tuesday petitioned the Delhi High Court to immediately defend his rights to publicity and personality.

His plea is for the blocking of offending websites, the removal of infringing URLs, and stringent instructions to Google and YouTube to remove illegal content according to PTI.
