Actress Nitanshi Goel recently won the Best Debut Female Award at the Filmfare Awards 2025 for her charming performance in Laapataa Ladies. The event was hosted by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar.

The award was presented to Nitanshi by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, and several videos of the three of them, along with the actress, on stage are getting viral on social media.

As Nitanshi stepped forward to accept her award, Shah Rukh could be seen on camera making his way to the stairs. Shah Rukh went down the stairs and held out his hand to greet her. Nitanshi held it but collapsed instantly. She was quickly saved by Shah Rukh, who grabbed both of her hands.
Nitanshi, wearing a long yellow dress and superstar Shah Rukh Khan in a black attire, shared a conversation as the actress steadied herself.

Shah Rukh was also seen walking behind the actress while holding her long dress as she came on the stage, and placing it gently while she received the award for Akshay Kumar.

Karan Johar hugged her and asked about her well-being. Then he laughed and gave her a head kiss.

Nitanshi last year appeared on Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast and talked about wanting to be the ‘Lady Shah Rukh Khan’ and said, “Right now, I say this everywhere that in the next 5-6 years, however long it takes, I want to be the next Lady Shah Rukh Khan. The way he speaks, his interviews, the way he has won everyone's heart, I also want to win everyone's heart like him."

Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies marked the 18-year-old's Bollywood debut. The film is about two young brides who split up while travelling by train in rural India in 2001. Additionally, Pratibha Ranta, Ravi Kishan, Chhaya Kadam, and Sparsh Shrivastava played an important role in the movie.
